Gloster ref whistles to the top

On 27 March 1924, Wales beat France by 1 drop goal and 2 tries (10 points) to 2 tries (6 points) in Paris. The referee was Mr R G Roberts of Gloucester, who thus became the first Gloucestershire referee to be appointed for an international match.
